Bought tobacco-less shisha to give it a whirl. However, our first attempt to use it didn’t pan out so well more research is required before trying it again.

He really is good at NOT looking at the camera…

The trees in the greenbelt behind my apartment are marked with these ribbons and silver plates. Does that mean they’re going to be cut down? That would be highly disappointing…

240/365

He spotted a wasp or something on the other side of the patio door and spent countless minutes trying to get it.

Attitude because I dared to stick the camera in his face.

228/365

Did a continuation of yesterday’s pictures, but since I can’t show you any more of those, here’s a shot of the rings.

Did Bridals today for a good friend before I have to return the 24-70mm on Wednesday. We went to the McNay, which is closed on Mondays but opens the grounds for photography (and a $20 fee…). I’d never been to this museum, but the architecture outside was beautiful! Since I don’t want to spoil the dress before the wedding, here’s a sneak peak!

226/365

Had to leave California today–and the beautifully wonderful 70-degree weather–to head back to Texas’ 100+ degree weather. How sad!

225/365

Did a little exploring around the Hotel & Marina after lunch.

224/365

Headed to San Diego today for a wedding. Got into California quite early in the day so that gave us plenty of time to get around and see things. The first shot is from the plane, shortly after the flight attendant told everyone to turn off all electronics for descent. The second is from the San Diego Zoo – my favorite animals!

It’s my birthday!! So I’m allowed to be vain and post another self-portrait πŸ™‚

I really don’t want to give this lens back 😦

222/365

More with the 24-70mm. Loving this lens. It’s fantastically sharp.

221/365

The Canon 24-70mm f2.8L I rented for the week arrived today. I’ve died and gone to camera heaven. I already don’t want to give it back.
